Psychotherapy for the human dimensions of legal life.
A specialized clinical practice helping lawyers, judges, law students, and other legal professionals navigate anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, difficult transitions, and the experience of being neurodivergent—or wondering whether they might be.
Psychotherapy in Minnesota and Texas
LEGAL WORK ASKS A GREAT DEAL OF THE PERSON DOING IT.
You may be accomplished, responsible, and outwardly successful—while privately contending with anxiety, exhaustion, overthinking, perfectionism, disconnection, or the sense that the way you have always managed is no longer sustainable.
Therapy offers a confidential place to understand what is happening beneath the surface, develop greater nervous system flexibility, and find ways of living and working that are more aligned with who you are.
SUPPORT SHAPED FOR LEGAL PROFESSIONALS
The qualities that help people succeed in law such as responsibility, vigilance, persistence, analytical thinking, and high standards can also make it difficult to recognize when something needs attention. Therapy can help when familiar ways of coping no longer work or begin to come at too great a cost.
ANXIETY & OVERTHINKING
Persistent worry, looping thoughts, difficulty switching off, or always anticipating what might go wrong.
BURNOUT & CHRONIC STRESS
Exhaustion, reduced capacity, loss of meaning, or feeling unable to recover between demands.
PERFECTIONISM & SELF-CRITICISM
Relentless internal standards, fear of mistakes, people-pleasing, or difficulty feeling that your work is ever enough.
NEURODIVERGENCE
Support for people who are neurodivergent, suspect they may be, or are reconsidering their experiences through a neurodivergent lens.
GRIEF, TRAUMA & DIFFICULT TRANSITIONS
Support through loss, painful experiences, identity changes, caregiving demands, or major personal and professional transitions.
VALUES & CAREER MISALIGNMENT
Exploring the growing distance between the life you are living and the person you know yourself to be.
