A THOUGHTFUL, INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

Therapy with Christina is collaborative, individualized, and attentive to the whole person. Together, you will explore not only the immediate problem, but also the patterns, experiences, relationships, environments, and nervous system responses that may be shaping it.

Christina draws from several evidence-informed and experiential approaches, selecting interventions according to each client’s needs, goals, preferences, and readiness. Her work may incorporate:

• Cognitive behavioral approaches
• EMDR and trauma-informed interventions
• Relational and attachment-based therapy
• Mindfulness and embodied awareness
• Parts-oriented work
• Motivational interviewing
• Executive-functioning support
• Neurodivergence-affirming exploration

The purpose is not to interpret your experience by a predetermined formula. It is to develop a clearer understanding of how you operate and build capacities that support greater flexibility, agency, connection, and sustainable change.

WHEN THERAPY MAY BE HELPFUL

Legal professionals often become highly skilled at functioning under pressure. You may continue meeting deadlines, serving clients, and carrying responsibility even when your internal experience has become increasingly difficult.

You may be seeking support because:

• Your mind continues working long after the workday ends.
• Anxiety, overthinking, or unwanted looping thoughts are difficult to interrupt.
• Burnout or chronic stress has reduced your energy, patience, or sense of meaning.
• Perfectionism and self-criticism make mistakes—or even ordinary uncertainty—feel intolerable.
• Work pressures are affecting your sleep, relationships, health, or ability to be present.
• Grief, trauma, caregiving, or a major transition has exceeded your usual ways of coping.
• You identify as neurodivergent, suspect you may be, or are making sense of a later-life identification.
• Your career appears successful but no longer feels aligned with your values or who you are becoming.

NEURODIVERGENCE-INFORMED THERAPY

Some adults arrive in therapy already identifying as neurodivergent. Others begin wondering after years of feeling that ordinary expectations require extraordinary effort, or after anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, or executive-functioning challenges make long-standing patterns more visible.

Christina works with clients who are neurodivergent, suspect they may be, or support and care for someone who is. Therapy may provide space to explore masking, sensory and emotional needs, executive functioning, identity, self-understanding, relationships, workplace demands, and the impact of navigating environments that were not designed with different ways of operating in mind.

This work does not begin with the assumption that every difficulty should be attributed to neurodivergence or that any difference itself needs to be corrected. The goal is to understand your experience more accurately, reduce unnecessary shame, and develop supports that respect both your capacities and your needs.

When formal diagnostic assessment or medication evaluation may be helpful, Christina can discuss appropriate referral options. Psychotherapy with Christina is not itself a formal autism or ADHD evaluation.
